Faraz Habiballahian (b. 1989) is an award-winning fine art photographer with a background in architecture from Azad University. His photographic journey began during his academic years, initially rooted in nature, before evolving into a more conceptual and expressive visual language.
After relocating to Italy, he entered a transformative phase that shaped his artistic identity, leading to early exhibitions in local cultural spaces. His participation in the prestigious Arte Laguna Prize in Venice marked a pivotal moment, expanding his presence within the international art scene.
In 2012, Habiballahian launched his acclaimed project “Flown Bird”, an exhibition that gained international recognition and toured across Russia, Japan, Italy, England, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Oman, Tajikistan, and the United States.
Throughout his career, he has founded multiple solo exhibitions and contributed to numerous group shows. His works have been exhibited in renowned institutions, including the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and the Louvre Museum.
Today, he continues to develop new photographic series while expanding his practice into filmmaking, with a focus on pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.

Faraz Habiballahian holds a diploma in Mathematics & Physics and a degree in Architecture from the Islamic Azad University of Tehran. Since 2013, he has been based in Florence, Italy, where his practice has evolved through a multidisciplinary approach bridging architecture, photography, and visual storytelling.
He has completed formal photography training at Mahe Mehr Institute and the University of Florence, developing a distinct visual language shaped by both structural and narrative perspectives.
